MORE ABOUT JACOB

Jacob is a lifelong resident of Blount County and cares deeply about the health of his community. He graduated from Maryville High School before completing his bachelor's degree in biology at Lincoln Memorial University where he also played baseball. Following his undergraduate education, he obtained his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating with honors and boasting a 4.0 GPA. He has spent over seven years serving his local hospital system working full-time in family medicine and part-time in urgent care. He has nearly 200 hours of continuing medical education in functional medicine and holds a certification in peptide therapy. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two precious, young children. He is an avid outdoorsman and relishes time spent outside with his family. He is a die-hard Tennessee Vol fan. When the weather is right, you can find him on any given body of water in East Tennessee, but admittedly, one of his favorite places in the world is the Little River.

Grace also grew up in Maryville, and is so honored and excited for the opportunity to care for those in her hometown community by working as a registered nurse alongside Jacob! She too graduated from Maryville High School before heading off to college at Florida State University, where she met her husband, Ian. Grace completed her associate degree at FSU before returning to Knoxville where she graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2019. She maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her studies and graduated her nursing program with honors. She has spent the majority of her nursing career working in pediatrics, predominantly in the neonatal intensive care unit. Grace also has experience working in geriatrics and the primary care office setting. On her days off, she loves spending time with her husband, sisters, and two young nieces. Traveling, reading, music, and doing most anything outside are some of her favorite hobbies.
